Resume tips

Keep it concise
Keep your resume to one or two pages. Only include information that is relevant to the job you’re applying for. Use a clear and professional format for your resume, with consistent font sizes and spacing.

Use keywords
Use keywords from the job description in your resume, so that your resume will be more likely to show up in automated applicant tracking systems.

Highlight technical skills
Highlight your technical skills and experience in a separate section at the top of your resume, so that potential employers can quickly see your expertise.

Use bullet points
Use bullet points to break up your experience and make it easier to read.

Quantify your achievements
Use numbers and data to quantify your accomplishments, such as the number of projects you worked on, the amount of code you wrote, or the impact you made on a project.

Use action verbs
Use action verbs to describe your experience, such as “developed,” “created,” and “implemented.”

Customize your resume
Customize your resume: Tailor your resume to the specific job you’re applying for, highlighting the skills and experience that are most relevant to the position.

Proofread
Finally, make sure you proofread your resume carefully for spelling and grammar errors, and ask a friend or colleague to review it as well.

Use the X by Y by Z formula
Google describes this as: “Accomplished [X] as measured by [Y], by doing [Z].” But just to make it easier to remember, let’s shorten it to X-Y-Z.
